LLOYD CARNEY CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Lloyd Carney is the Brocade Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Brocade Board of Directors. As CEO, Lloyd is responsible for executing the company’s vision and strategy to lead the networking industry through its next phase of evolution that will be defined by data center virtualization, cloud computing, and software networking.

Before joining Brocade, Lloyd was CEO and member of the board of directors at Xsigo Systems, a technology leader in the data center virtualization market with solutions for cloud computing and software-defined networking. Previous to that, he was CEO of Micromuse, Inc., a networking management software company which became an integral part of the IBM Tivoli framework. Lloyd also has extensive experience in the IP networking industry. He served as the chief operating officer at Juniper Networks where he oversaw the engineering, product management, and manufacturing divisions. Lloyd also served as president of the core IP, wireless Internet, and the enterprise divisions at Nortel Networks, which generated multi-billion dollars in revenue. Before this, he was the executive vice president and general manager of the Enterprise Business Unit at Bay Networks.

Lloyd holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology and an Honorary PhD from the Wentworth Institute of Technology.  He also earned a Master of Science degree in Applied Business Management from Lesley College in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

KEN CHENG CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER AND SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT AND EMERGING BUSINESS

As Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Emerging Business, Ken Cheng leads the company’s technology strategy, software networking solutions, key business initiatives, M&A, and investment portfolio as it focuses on the evolving data center infrastructure within enterprises, cloud service providers, and Federal markets. Previously, Ken served as vice president of routing, application delivery, and software networking, owning the overall vision, strategy, and execution of these business areas.

Ken joined Brocade in 2008 through the acquisition of Foundry Networks, where he held various executive management positions during his 12-year tenure. Prior to Foundry, Cheng served as chief operating officer and Senior Vice President of Engineering for DG Systems (now DG FastChannel), a content distribution network company that operates the largest network designed specifically for media distribution. Ken also held senior engineering management positions at Network Equipment Technologies (NET) and Bell Northern Research (later Nortel Labs).

Ken holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Queen's University (Canada), an MBA from Santa Clara University, and a Certificate in Music from the Royal Academy of Music (England).

GALE ENGLAND CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER AND SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, OPERATIONS

Gale England is Brocade’s Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President, Worldwide Operations. Joining the company in 2013, Gale has more than 35 years of technology industry experience.  He has also held leadership roles in engineering, customer service, and operations.  Gale has technical and professional management certifications from Boston University and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

As Brocade’s chief operations executive, Gale drives profitable growth and operational efficiencies cross-functionally and globally, including Worldwide Manufacturing and Supply Chain, Global Services, Customer Technical Services, Global Real Estate and Facilities, Worldwide Procurement, India Development Center, Global IP and Physical Security, and Information Technology services.  He also oversees the company’s efforts to ensure that Brocade customers experience world-class products and support.

Prior to his current role, Gale was Senior Vice President, Worldwide Operations. In that role, he directed teams that focused on strengthening customer relationships and improving the efficiency of internal processes.

Previously, Gale was Senior Vice President, Global Operations and Quality at Grass Valley, LLC.

There, he led the rollout of services and technology designed to improve the company’s manufacturing, ordering, logistics, supply chain, and quality processes. Earlier in his career, Gale served in senior executive positions at Nortel Networks, Bay Networks, and Wellfleet Communications.

DAN FAIRFAX SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Dan Fairfax was named Chief Financial Officer of Brocade in June 2011, after serving as Vice President of the Brocade Worldwide Service and Support organization. He joined the company as the result of the Company’s acquisition of Foundry Networks, where he also served as CFO.

Prior to joining Foundry Networks, Dan served as senior vice president and CFO of GoRemote Internet Communications. He also served as CFO of Ironside Technologies, Inc., ACTA Technology, and NeoVista Software. Before that, Dan held senior financial management and operations positions at Siemens and Spectra-Physics.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Whitman College and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

PARVIZ GHALAMBOR SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, ENGINEERING

As Senior Vice President of Engineering since 2007, Parviz Ghalambor is responsible for the research and development of all Brocade SAN and IP products globally. He was previously senior director of Engineering at Rhapsody Networks, which was acquired by Brocade in 2003.

Parviz has over 30 years of engineering management experience, and he has pioneered the design and development of a broad range of technologies, including mainframes, ATM systems, IP networking, and storage networking systems. Prior to joining Brocade, he was senior director of Engineering at AccessLan Communications. He also held technical management positions at Synoptics and Unisys.

Parviz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach.

CAROL GOODE SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AND CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER

As Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, Carol Goode is responsible for leading Brocade’s global talent strategies to help create and develop a high-performing organization that focuses on customer success.

Carol has more than 20 years of business experience in human resource management, serving in executive leadership and consulting roles for a range of companies, from high-tech start-ups to divisional and corporate leadership roles in four Fortune 100 companies. She previously served as vice president of Human Resources at Bay Networks/Nortel Networks, and led Worldwide Human Resources at O.R. Technology and Seagate Technology.

At various stages of her career, Carol has worked in and managed nearly every Human Resources discipline, with demonstrated experience crafting compensation and incentive plans to expedite product development cycles and create customized performance management systems for motivating engineering teams and entire organizations. She is adept at reengineering organizations and creating the optimal infrastructure to help organizations scale efficiently.

Carol holds an MBA from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.

CHRISTINE HECKART SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AND CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER

Christine Heckart is Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Brocade. A 25-year veteran of the technology industry, Christine brings a wealth of experience in technology marketing, business strategy, and general management. She is a member of the board of directors at Lam Research, and was recently named as one of the Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology by the National Diversity Council.

Christine oversees global marketing with a focus on reinforcing Brocade’s #1 position in storage area networking, driving preference and demand for Brocade’s New IP offerings, and increasing the company’s visibility as a leading network provider for data centers worldwide.

Prior to joining Brocade, Christine served as Executive Vice President of Strategy, Marketing, People, and IT at ServiceSource, a provider of cloud applications and services for managing recurring revenue. Previously, she was Chief Marketing Officer at NetApp and Juniper Networks.  She was also general manager of Microsoft’s TV, video, and music business and President of TeleChoice, Inc. Christine specializes in creating new markets and categories, positioning companies for growth in highly competitive industries, and developing differentiated business strategies.

KELLY HERRELL SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AND GENERAL MANAGER, SOFTWARE NETWORKING

As Senior Vice President and General Manager of Software Networking at Brocade, Kelly Herrell leads software networking strategy and execution at the company. He leads an organization responsible for driving growth through the delivery of an innovative virtual networking platform and advancing the company’s technology portfolio and customer base in cloud and service provider markets.

Kelly previously served as CEO of Vyatta, a pioneer and industry leader of virtual routing, which was acquired by Brocade in 2012. Prior to Vyatta, he played key leadership roles in a series of successful disruptive IT companies including Blue Coat, Cobalt Networks, and MontaVista Software, and directed strategic product and marketing initiatives for Oracle and Teradata.

Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing and economics from Washington State University and an MBA from Cornell University.

JEFF LINDHOLM SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, WORLDWIDE SALES

As Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Jeff Lindholm owns the development of the company’s overall sales strategy and leads the global sales organization. He is focused on implementing strategies to expand the company’s customer base and take advantage of new business opportunities in today’s networking industry.

With more than 30 years of experience in the high-tech industry, Lindholm has held a number of sales and marketing leadership positions at networking and telecommunications technology companies. At Juniper Networks, he served in key executive roles, including senior vice president of Worldwide Sales as well as chief marketing officer. Most recently, Lindholm served as senior vice president of Field Operations at Arbor Networks, a provider of network security and management solutions for enterprise and service provider networks.

Lindholm holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.

SELINA LO CEO, RUCKUS WIRELESS BUSINESS UNIT

As CEO of the Ruckus Wireless Business Unit, Selina Lo leads strategy and execution for Brocade’s wireless networking products and solutions. She joined Brocade in May 2016 with the acquisition of Ruckus Wireless, where she was President and CEO. Before starting Ruckus, Selina built a number of successful computer networking startups. As VP of Marketing and Product Management at Alteon WebSystems, she defined a completely new market for load-balancing Web switches, which was acquired by Nortel. Her name has become synonymous with innovation in the world of computer networking. Before Alteon, she co-founded Centillion Networks, which developed the first token ring/Ethernet/ATM switch and was quickly acquired by Bay Networks.

Born in Hong Kong, Selina received her B.A. in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley.

JASON NOLET SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, SWITCHING, ROUTING AND ANALYTICS PRODUCTS GROUP

As Senior Vice President of the Switching, Routing and Analytics Business Unit at Brocade, Jason Nolet is responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and execution plans that drive the company’s business results for IP/Ethernet solutions in the data centers and campus networks of enterprise and service provider customers. Jason is also responsible for the company’s network visibility and analytics solutions for mobile network operators. He joined Brocade in 2009, bringing nearly 25 years of experience focused in the networking industry.

Prior to joining Brocade, Jason held a variety of executive positions at Cisco over a 13-year period. He was most recently vice president of engineering and led product development for a wide range of network security products and solutions. Prior to Cisco, Jason spent more than a decade in engineering leadership roles at Stratus Computer, AT&T Global Information Systems, and NCR Corporation.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Information Systems from San Diego State University.

NELL O'DONNELL SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, GENERAL COUNSEL AND CORPORATE SECRETARY

As Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Brocade, Nell O’Donnell is responsible for the company’s global legal work, including management of the company’s intellectual property portfolio, commercial transactions, and regulatory compliance programs.

Nell brings to Brocade a strong background in licensing and corporate governance, and diverse industry experience from a career working in corporate legal departments, law firms, and entrepreneurial ventures. She has assisted cloud computing and software-as-a-service companies with intellectual property ownership and licensing, commercial agreements, and privacy and data security issues. Her corporate experience includes roles as SVP and General Counsel at Micromuse Inc. and Associate General Counsel at LucasArts.

Nell has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Stanford University and a law degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.

DAN RABINOVITSJ COO, RUCKUS WIRELESS BUSINESS UNIT

As COO of the Ruckus Wireless Business Unit, Dan manages day-to-day operations for Brocade’s wireless networking products and solutions. He joined Brocade in May 2016 with the acquisition of Ruckus Wireless, where he was COO. With a career spanning more than 25 years in communications and wireless technology, Dan has extensive experience driving new ideas from vision to reality and a passion for building disruptive technology with great teams.

Dan joined Ruckus from Qualcomm, where he was the Senior Vice President and General Manager of its Wired and Wireless Networking group, running the Networking and Small Cells business and helping drive the transition to smart routers to dramatically improve user experience and start the transition to the Internet of Everything. Dan also led Qualcomm’s initiative to drive high-density deployment of LTE infrastructure, which has continued in Ruckus as the OpenG™ platform. He previously held management positions with Atheros, NXP, Silicon Labs and AMD, working on technology initiatives from central office switching systems to mobile handset platforms and network processors.

Dan holds Bachelor's and Master’s Degrees from the University of Texas at Austin where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.

JACK RONDONI SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, STORAGE NETWORKING

As Senior Vice President of the Storage Networking Business Unit, Jack Rondoni leads the strategy and execution of Brocade’s storage networking business. Jack is responsible for driving innovation in the company’s largest business, leading new product development, driving strategic storage initiatives and enabling advanced storage technologies such as Solid State Storage and Software Defined Storage. He joined Brocade in 2006 bringing over 20 years of experience in storage, networking, and technology.

Prior to joining Brocade, Jack was a Segment Marketing leader at Agilent/Avago Technologies.  He also held leadership roles in product management and marketing in a number of startups and he spent 9 years at Motorola driving new product development.

Jack holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

JUDY BRUNER CHAIRWOMAN OF THE AUDIT COMMITTEE

Judy Bruner has served as a director since January 2009. From 2004 until May 2016, Ms. Bruner served as Executive Vice President, Administration and Chief Financial Officer of SanDisk Corporation, a supplier of flash storage products that was acquired by Western Digital Corporation in May 2016. Prior to joining SanDisk, Ms. Bruner served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Palm, Inc., a provider of handheld computing and communications solutions, from 1999 to 2004. Before joining Palm, Ms. Bruner held financial management positions with 3Com Corporation, Ridge Computers and Hewlett-Packard Company. Ms. Bruner serves as a director of Applied Materials, Inc., Rapid7, inc. and Varian Medical Systems, Inc. Ms. Bruner received a B.A. degree in economics from the University of California at Los Angeles and an M.B.A. degree from Santa Clara University.

LLOYD A. CARNEY

Lloyd A. Carney was named Chief Executive Officer of Brocade in January 2013 and has served as a director since February 2013. Before joining Brocade, Mr. Carney served as Chief Executive Officer and member of the board of directors of Xsigo Systems Inc., an I/O virtualization platform company, from 2008 until it was acquired by Oracle Corporation in 2012. Previously, Mr. Carney served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Micromuse Inc., a provider of network management software, from 2003 to 2006. Following IBM’s acquisition of Micromuse in 2006, Mr. Carney served as General Manager of IBM’s Netcool Division. Mr. Carney currently serves as a director of Visa, Inc. Mr. Carney previously served as a director of Cypress Semiconductor Corporation and Technicolor SA. Mr. Carney received a B.S. degree in electrical engineering technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology, an M.S. degree in applied business management from Lesley College and an Hon. D. degree in engineering technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology.

RENATO A. DIPENTIMA

Renato A. DiPentima has served as a director since January 2007. Dr. DiPentima retired from SRA International (“SRA”), a provider of technology and strategic consulting services and solutions, in 2007. Dr. DiPentima served in various capacities at SRA from 1995 to 2007, including President and Chief Executive Officer from 2005 to 2007, President and Chief Operating Officer from 2003 to 2005, Senior Vice President and President of SRA’s government sector from 1997 to 2003, and Vice President and Chief Information Officer from 1995 to 1997. Prior to joining SRA, Dr. DiPentima held several senior management positions in the U.S. federal government, most recently serving as Deputy Commissioner for Systems at the Social Security Administration from 1990 to 1995. Dr. DiPentima currently serves as a director of ASI Government, Inc., Cap Gemini Government Solutions LLC and iNovex Information Systems Inc. Dr. DiPentima received a B.A. degree in psychology from New York University, an M.A. degree in public policy from George Washington University and a Ph.D. degree in public policy (technology) from the University of Maryland.

ALAN L. EARHART

Alan L. Earhart has served as a director since February 2009. From 1970 until he retired in 2001, Mr. Earhart held various positions with Coopers & Lybrand and its successor entity, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, an accounting and consulting firm, including most recently as the Managing Partner for PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Silicon Valley office. Mr. Earhart currently serves as a director of TiVo Corporation and NetApp, Inc. Mr. Earhart previously served as a director of Foundry Networks, Inc., Quantum Corporation and Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. Mr. Earhart received a B.S. degree in accounting from the University of Oregon.

JOHN W. GERDELMAN

John W. Gerdelman has served as a director since January 2007. Since 2007, Mr. Gerdelman has served as Managing Partner of River2, an investment and consulting partnership.  From 2010 through 2011, Mr. Gerdelman served as President of Long Lines Limited, a telecommunications service provider. From 2004 through 2010, he served as executive Chairman of Intelliden Corporation, a company he co-founded. From 2002 to 2003, Mr. Gerdelman served as Chief Executive Officer of Metromedia Fiber Networks. During a portion of 1999, he served as President and CEO of USA.NET. Previously, Mr. Gerdelman held various positions with MCI Communications Corporation and Baxter Travenol Corporation and served in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Aviator. Mr. Gerdelman currently serves as a director of Owens & Minor, Inc., Certes Networks Inc. and Local Voice Media LLC.  Mr. Gerdelman previously served as a director of APAC Customer Services, Inc., Proxim Wireless Corporation and Sycamore Networks, Inc. Mr. Gerdelman received a B.S. degree in chemistry from the College of William and Mary.

KIM C. GOODMAN

Kim C. Goodman has served as a director since February 2016.  Ms. Goodman was named the Chief Executive Officer of Worldpay’s US business, effective November 7, 2016. From 2007 to 2014, Ms. Goodman held several positions with American Express Company, a financial services company, including President of American Express Global Business Travel from 2011 to 2013, President of Merchant Services Americas from 2010 to 2011, and Executive Vice President of Merchant Services North America from 2007 to 2010. Prior to joining American Express, she served as Vice President of Software and Peripherals of Dell Inc. from 2005 to 2007.  Previously, Ms. Goodman held various other positions with Dell from 2000 to 2005, including Vice President of Public Sector Marketing and Transactional Sales, Vice President of Dell Networking, and Vice President of Business Development.  Ms. Goodman currently serves as a director of Charter Communications, Inc. Ms. Goodman previously served as a director of Alcatel-Lucent SA and AutoNation, Inc.  Ms. Goodman received a B.A. degree in political science from Stanford University, an M.S. degree in industrial engineering from Stanford University and an M.B.A. degree from Harvard Business School.

DAVID L. HOUSE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD

David L. House has served as a director since February 2004 and as Chairman of Brocade’s Board of Directors since December 2005. From January 2005 through December 2005, he served as executive Chairman of the Board. Mr. House served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Allegro Networks, a privately held provider of network routing equipment, from 2001 until 2003. Previously, he served as President of Nortel Networks Corporation from 1998 to 1999. Prior to joining Nortel Networks, Mr. House served as Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bay Networks, Inc. from 1996 to 1998. Prior to joining Bay Networks, Mr. House served in senior management positions at Intel Corporation for 23 years. In addition to serving as a director of Allegro Networks, Bay Networks and Nortel Networks, Mr. House previously served as a director of Credence Systems Corporation, Salira Systems, Inc. and Soil & Topography Information, Inc. Mr. House received a B.S.E.E. degree from Michigan Technological University, an M.S.E.E. degree from Northeastern University and an Hon.D. degree from Michigan Technological University.

L. WILLIAM KRAUSE CHAIRMAN OF THE COMPENSATION COMMITTEE

L. William (Bill) Krause has served as a director since 2004. Mr. Krause has served as President of LWK Ventures, a private advisory and investment firm since 1991. In addition, Mr. Krause serves as a Senior Advisor to The Carlyle Group and as a Board Partner for Andreesen Horowitz. Previously, Mr. Krause served as President and Chief Executive Officer of 3Com Corporation, a global data networking company, from 1981 to 1990 and as its Chairman from 1987 to 1993 when he retired. Mr. Krause currently serves as a director of Coherent, Inc., a leading supplier of Photonic-based systems, and CommScope Holding Company, Inc., a networking infrastructure company. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Veritas Holdings Ltd., an information management leader. Mr. Krause previously served as a director for the following public companies: Core-Mark Holding Company, Inc., Packeteer, Inc., Sybase, Inc. and TriZetto Group, Inc. Mr. Krause received a B.S. degree in electrical engineering and an honorary Doctorate of Science from The Citadel.

DAVID E. ROBERSON CHAIRMAN OF THE CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE

David E. Roberson has served as a director since April 2014. Mr. Roberson has served as a business consultant to technology companies since 2012. Previously, Mr. Roberson served as Senior Vice President within the Enterprise Server, Storage and Networking Group for Hewlett-Packard Company, an information technology company, from 2007 to 2011. Prior to joining HP, Mr. Roberson spent 26 years at Hitachi Data Systems, starting as corporate counsel and rising through the company to become President and CEO, a position he held from 2006 to 2007. He also served as President and Chief Operating Officer from 2002 to 2006 and Chief Operating Officer from 2000 to 2002. Previously, Mr. Roberson served as Adjunct Professor at Golden Gate University School of Law and Research Director at Hastings College of Law. Mr. Roberson currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Push Technology Limited and previously served as a director of Quantum Corporation and International Game Technology Corporation. Mr. Roberson received a B.A. from the University of California at Irvine and a J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law.

SANJAY VASWANI CHAIRMAN OF THE NOMINATING AND CORPORATE GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE

Sanjay Vaswani has served as a director since April 2004. Mr. Vaswani has been a managing partner of the Center for Corporate Innovation, Inc., a professional services firm focused on the technology and healthcare industries, since 1990. From 1987 to 1990 he was with McKinsey & Company. Prior to that, Mr. Vaswani was employed by Intel Corporation. Mr. Vaswani previously served as a director of Blue Star Infotech Ltd. and as a director of Persistence Software, Inc. Mr. Vaswani received a B.B.A. degree from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.B.A. degree from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
